What can I do to my C280 to make it faster?
First, if anyone could give me the engine specs on my car and compare it to the C43 or non-sport, that'd be great. (Just HP, stuff like that)
I have a 2000 C280 Sport, and I have read about certain upgrades that one can do to the engine or software in order to increase horsepower. (Also things like air intake, etc.) What are general prices for these types of upgrades, and what realistically is the most gain in power that I can get?

You
suffer from an anemic engine.V6 194h.p. C43 v8 349 h.p.
You basically have a destroked m112 engine made for economy not performance.
It has a cold air intake already so no aftermarket one will improve it.Don't waste money on fancy air filters just keep fresh oem in the air box from autohausaz.com
No chip,no multi tip plugs are going to be of help either.
Your single biggest improvement with that model is put it on a diet.Light weight rims, the lightest you can afford ,quality tires,Remove any unneeded items.100 pounds = about 10h.p.
don't mess with software.
you can pick up a c43 for under 10grand that is the lowest priced 150h.p. gain.
