Not enough information for us to be able to diagnose things. Time to get under the car and inspect the drivetrain from the flex discs on back to see if it is something external versus an internal transmission issue. Let us know what you find.

Ok we never just go with what someone says and run and buy a part... guy at lkq said that its called a carrier assembly aka rear diff i need someone to verify this for me asap he also asked something about traction control ? do i have that on my c280 sport only thing i ever noticed is my brakes keep me at same speed when in crusie control.

I have read in other forums that the spider gears are one of the most poorly engineered parts on these cars and not built very robustly at all. You are probably going to have to buy used and I am not sure (other than mileage) how you can tell if you are buying a decent set or not. Due to weight, it may be one of those things you want to buy locally. I would get a good MB mechanic that you can trust and let him order the parts from a junkyard he trusts.
