After searching the web all day and going to two body kit shops, I have decided that it will take a miracle to find a Carlsson body kit. I guess I'll just go with the AMG body kit. I would rather have Lorinser but those also seem hard to find. I was hoping to go for the Carlsson look. I think I will need more than just Springs and Wheels to put on some Carlsson badges and call it a Carlsson C280. I kind of wanted that theme. My car is pretty much a mix and match right now so I don't know where to start anymore. If I go with replica do any of you know where I can get something that's not fiberglass. I would like it to last a little longer than a month if possible.

I believe there are still a few shops that have a Lorinser kit...do you want an original one? Almost all aftermarket kits are made of fiberglass...even the originals are (though AMGs are urethane). Reiger is ABS plastic. In Japan a lot of kits are coming out made with flexible fiberglas...pretty nice. Regular fiberglas kits can be strong, depending on who makes it. Some companies use thick sheets of fiberglass, cheap ones use spray glass. Carlsson kits are hard to find...either real or replica's.

That's why I don't really like the look of Rieger Tuning. Because of the ABS plastic, it can't be molded into sharp corners. It kind of looks bubbly to me. Now don't get me wrong, Luwin's car is awesome. A good thing about ABS is that it will last forever. Anything you find about Lorinser or any other body kits will be sufficient. Thanks in advance for the input.

Man that Lorinser kit is sweet! I actually kind of like the look of the one with the spoiler. It's kind of a love/hate thing i guess. I don't like the look of Rieger's front spoiler. It just looks bubbly and almost a "universal fit" type spoiler. What kind of kit is the one with the spoiler? I should clarify which one I'm talking about. The one with the aluminum wing.

That's a Wald kit (www.waldusa.com). Kinda resembles the facelifted e-class front...very clean though. The rest of the kit reminds me of the C43.
CEC is the distributor of Lorinser I believe.
Here's another pic of the Carlsson kit. Tire Rack used to sell the front bumper for 543, the sides for 300 (forgot how much the rear lips were).

I used to have a Carlsson front lip - never really dug the entire bumper - wanted something more aggressive, like Rieger.
CECwheels might be able to source you a Lorinser kit.

That is different than Tp's. I don't know what I want now. Carlsson is too hard to find. Wald looks good but it's 3 grand. I can't seem to find Lorinser at a descent price. All I have left is the AMG kit. And everyone already has one of those. I'm just going to go get some lumber and build my own. It worked for this guy:

wald kit to me looks the BEST.
i love that e class look.
its 3k direct from waldusa, but i think if you called the dealers you might find a cheaper price... if I wasnt planning on oem av grill, xenons, exhaust, command, wheels, i'd consider getting that kit
