Questions on tire rotating & general service
First off I'd like to say thanks to 'Scorchie' for helping me install my AMG 17's with Bridgestone's. I like them a lot.
Questions:
1) With directional tires, and larger rear than front set up like my 17 AMG wheels with tires (ala C43), what do you do w/regard to tire rotation?
2) I have a bulb on the dash that says I have a light out...however after checking all parking, head, and brake lights I find them all to be working. False-positive perhaps?
3) Where is the best place in the South Bay Area to have oil changes and service done?

Unfortunately you can no longer rotate your tires. All you can do is keep them balanced and make sure the allignment is in spec. I'm not going to tell you what it is supposed to be because it is different for every car, especially if it is lowered.
Did you check your reverse lights?

About the lamp defective display, check the license plate lights too. If everything is okay, pay close attention next time it happens to when exactly the light comes on. If it comes on when you touch the brake pedal, it's a bad brake light bulb. Put it into reverse, it's a bad reverse bulb, etc...

u can take tire off and put them back on on the other side.

bmw (i know i know) does not recommend tire rotation. neither does the manual for c36. if u really wanted to...u could do what tp said and unmount the right rear tire and mount it onto the left rear wheel...and vice versa....seems like a lot of trouble.

i can, u gotta pay my manager for using air and the hudrolic racks. plus on top of that my 150 USD install. i ask him how much he will charge. we only do tires at the place. tires and alignment. no more suspension or anything else. winston tires went bankrupt

yea 225/40/18 is wat c class atkes u can go 235 need roll fender for that
we sell only goodyear tires. best oens we got are dunlap SP 9000. good tires..we charge prenium for those..like 400 each.. better off getting from tirerack.

About rotating the tires. Most of the time, you can't take the tire off the rim and move it to the other side. A lot of tires say "Mount this side to inside of rim." So again, your stuck. Just make sure you have a good allignment and they are all balanced and you will be fine.
