c180 gas door won't open !!
Am at work, very low on fuel, just got back from the gas station. The fuel lid just could not open. Pressed the cup in and out , unlocked/locked then unlock the car.
The lid remains locked. I have checked both fuse compartments boxes and can’t find any reference to the fuel lid.
Any ideas plse help

might have a problem.
Try looking in the manual for the release of the lid via behind the panel covering the area behind the gas lid in the trunk.

Others are right, but as to the cause, it's locked when the car is locked and vice/versa so probably a failure of the fuel door locking mechanism, which I assume is vacuum as well. If you can see the lock mechanism check for tubes that may have fallen off or a leak.
