Exclamation Finally Slammed! Pics

hey,
after all the hassle i finally got the benz slammed, i picked it up on thursday March 20, 2003! All i can say is damn, it looks pimp, the car handles like a dream, really tight, no diving, swaying or body roll. Its more than i could have asked for. There is no wheel gap in front and the fist 1/2 of the rear tires go into the wheel well. It looks sick! I'll post some pics on here later but u can go check it out at our site, Go peep it!

very nice car man!! i loooovee your eisenmann exhaust (had to cut the rear bumper to make them fit no??) very nice...
just one comment...

YOU ARE GOING TO CHANGE YOUR 280 FOR A NEW AMG36 OR 43 ENGINE AND CONVERT AUTO TRANNY TO MANUAL??????
that would be veryyy cool but you are going to fork out soooo much money man...... the transmission change alone already costs about 12g, let alone the 36 engine which will cost another 10 or 15g...
either way Wow man!!! nice car... good luck

You're going to have to do a lot more than just change out the engine. Just stick to plan and get the E36 M3.

Hey rbus, how is your ride comfort with those eibach springs and bilstien sport shock? i also had them both installed in my 95 c280 and the ride handles super good but damn it's pretty bumpy/bouncy. The rear has about 1/2 wheel gap and the front has no wheel gap. THe front tires are tucked about 1/2in. What spring pad # did you use? Im planning to raise the front so that it wouldn't tuck. Rubs lilke crazy when i turn and go over speed bumps. Im wearing my tires out! Need to raise front asap. Check this out and tell me what you think...

my rear tires go into the wheel well for 1/2 inch and the front there is no wheel gap (perfect). The ride is stiff, but not uncomfortable. The car is wicked tight, i used #1 pads.

rbus nice pics!

Where did u get ur eisenmann exhaust from? It sounds great. Any feeling of hp gain? I have the same suspension setting as u do i believe, but i've never change the pad tho. What are the original pads? #1? #2? My front wheels do rub especially when im reversing out the stall...so which pad should i go for? Or i think i might just need to roll up the front fenders...but still look for a place to do that. Anyway tight ride keep up the good work!

His website lists 210 H.P. What's your secret to getting that?

it is an estimated figure, due to my eisenmann exhaust, custom straight piping that replaces the front silencer, and a k&n filter

You may want to estimate that down to 200. You and I have the same car with the same mods, you would feel a 15 horsepower gain if you gained it.

Not to mention, he doesn't even know what it was to start with... no baseline dyno run.

Hopefully he hasn't lost too much HP over time. I would give him at least 200. 2 for the filter and 3 for the exhaust.
