Avantgarde grille
This must have been discussed in previous threads before.
I am new to this forum and would appreciate it if anybody can direct me where to get the oem avantgarde grille for the W202. I have seen it in ebay and formymercedes.com - is this what you all recommend to buy?

Avantgarde grille again
Thanks, Rincewind. Can you recommend where to get the oem grille. I have tried the dealers here in Auckland and was told that the oem s600 grilles will not fit. Do you have a part number for the item that will fit my C220's bonnet. Appreciate your help on this.

of course the oem s600 grill wont fit >_< its made to fit an s-class!
there is an oem avantgarde grill for the c-class that is taken from an e-class (w210) and trimmed down to fit by mercedes. but some companies know this and ordered the oem e-class grill and trimmed it down themselves (those are the replicas). if you look at the previous thread there are some quality issues that may be of concern to you.
the part number for the OEM avantgarde grill for the c-class trimmed by mercedes is: B6 688 0127
also read the url up above, its a guide by professor scorchie
