i have yet to pull my stock corner housing out since i havent bought any aftermarket replacements yet, but i am seriously contemplating between the guaranteed quality of the bosch clears or the $80 savings of the "ebay clear corners."
sooo, when you say a zip tie will keep the aftermarket corners will hold the corner on, does that mean that there are no bolts or anything holding it in? do the corner lenses just pop in and pop out without anything securing it from behind?
are the bosch ones like this too, or is there some type of hardware holding it in? if i spend $130 on some corner lights, i hope they cant just be pulled out by some punk little kid...

How to make your EBay Corners
stay on. When I got a pair from Ebay and mounted them they literally fell off. I solved the problem by taking a dremel with a thin sanding disk and sanded a groove on the handle that snaps the corners into place, my ebay ones were smooth and they wouldn't "catch" but with the groove they sit in nice and snug. The other thing I had to do was put a drop of silicone adhesive on the bulb socket, as my C280 has a three prong socket and the supplied only had a two. The three prong socket wouldn't tighten into the ebay corners, but these two fixes made everything work fine.

I like the picture of the emblem right-side-up. I had to file a bunch of pieces on my ebay corners to make them stay in. They look fine now but the original fitment was terrible. I think I got them from f1 motorsports or something.

my **** fits perfectly where the clips slide in. those F1 motorsport ones look cheap. i bought the ones from Import Vision Motor Sports.

these are clear corners we are talkinga bout merely 20 dollars. If someone jacked my corner i wouldnt care. its not like i bought a supercharger off ebay. the looks of bosch and made in taiwan corners are the same. well some dont fit right true that. Mine fit fine. i could tell you mine was bosch and you wouldnt know.

You guys do know that there is 2 different types of corner lights for mb.
The older model like a 1995 does not fit flush on a 1999. The 1999 on a 1995 just falls right out and wont even really go in.
I know this because when I had the C36 I bought smoked corners for it and found out it wouldnt go in. Then I tried it on my C43 and it fit fine. So I tried putting the C36 stock lights in the C43 and it stuck out. Just something I noticed.
