Restored and official photoshoot!
So the car was bought brand new back in 1995 and now.. it turned out like this. Had the car fully restored/resprayed last year and did some bits of this and that.. Think I've posted a thread before about the restoration but anyways.. finally a photoshoot!

Yea the whole idea of the project was giving it that OEM+ look but keeping it as simple as possible.No magic on the suspension, running on H&R Cup Kit (no modifications here, straight out of the box).

Lol. He only has 20 posts since he joined in 2005 so don't think he's ignoring the question, he just doesn't come on here. Also he gave us a hint, the rims are replica and you can find a little more about them in previous posts. Also he says the car is in Hong Kong, do very likely jdm or Chinese sourcing. I'd guess they are out of production... I found a machine shop that makes custom rims but I'm not sure it's be worth the cost.

I assume he gets a bump every time someone posts. Being a curious guy, I would at least see what some one was saying, but that's me....
The wheels really set the car off, and the lowering, and the paint job, etc. etc. etc.
Anyway, I have WAY too much invested in my C230, but I love the car, so a few more bucks wouldn't kill me if I could find the wheels.

It really is the same situation with all other US/UK forums that I keep getting the same question. Unfortunately, these wheels were specifically produced only in CN/HK. I would imagine no one in the states would have them.
A guy from the UK kept asking whether or not I could source him the wheels and honestly, I gave him every breakdown of the cost.. (wheel it self, shipping from CN to HK, and shipping from HK to UK) and in the end, it was just say too expensive..
In conclusion, the price is pretty close to actual E55 AMG OEM wheels so in the end he gave up. (I assume that he's referring to a used one though..)
