given the chance...

would you buy another w202 (if you currently own one) if you had to replace your w202 now?

Yes. You will have to pry my W202 out of my cold dead hands. This is the best made MB product I've owned and is so economical to own it's insane for a near-luxury car.

The aspro 2.3L has GREAT fuel economy.

The aspro 2.3L is easy to work on and very long lived with a huge double row timing chain.

The engine bay is open and most things are within easy reach.

The interior materials are very high quality.

The exterior has evolved into a "classic" Mercedes shape cemented by the W140.

99% of maintenance items are DIY, BIG money saver!!

probably not.... I really miss a good german manual transmission.... I would if the w202's came with manual trans in the US like they did in europe... M/B manual trans are excellent... for my next car I'm probably gonna get another E36... mayby a 3.0 6cyl this time...

As of right now and maybe within the next year, HELL YES. I would buy a 1999 or 2000 C 280 Sport in a heartbeat! But, realistically, I will not get another car for another two to three years, so the answer is no. I am going to the "other side". My next car's gonna be a 330i sedan possibly with a manual tranny cause I'm a big fan.
