C220 head

Hi Im new here, I have a 1994 C220 with M111 motor that has blown a head gasket. I am an ex motor mechanic but have never worked on Mercedes. I decided to do the repairs myself and a billion bolts nuts and thingies later I have it stripped down to the final stage of head removal. My problem is that the bolts on the exhaust camshaft sprocket, the cambering and the head studs themselves are so tight I can't undo them. Has anyone else struck this and is there a workaround? They are all torx head bolts and I have broken a couple of drivers on the cam socket as the torx drivers are so tiny. Any help would be appreciated. First time here. Thanks in advance

Put everything in a bag and throw the bag in a deep lake---then purchase a junk yard engine.

Just buy a good quality torx socket, T40 i think...they do sit tight as they are stretch bolts, another option maybe to remove the tensioner and the bearing caps so you can just remove the camshaft complete

I have bought good quality Torx but the bolts are just so tight. Is there some trick to breaking them free?

Tap them several times with a hammer to shock them. Or use a power bar on the bolt keeping tension on it smack the rear of the power bar it may shock it loose
