there is no egr in my motor
So, i was watching a video on youtube and find out the EGR valve in my car should be located on the driver side of the engine right where the engine meets the firewall, so i went to my car and took a look under the hood and there is no valve. is it posible that a 1996 c220 came out without an EGR valve?
here is my vin

i can't diagnose the car as it has obd1 port and theres no mechanic in my hometown that has the conector except for one, but although he has the obd1 conector, his scanner doesn't have input data for the 1996 w202 22, so, no diagnose is posible.

so these are the facts
1.- no egr valve ( yours doesn't have )
2.- no crankcase or oil separator A.K.A. pcv valve ( you say a 96 should not have it )
3 .- no fuel regulator ( you say it should have it )

well i am having a hard time finding out why my rpms drop to 300-500 when i get to a stop. i have wires and sparks good and newer maf sensor as well. i have cleaned the iat valve and the throttle body too, but the car stills the same. i thought maybe the egr valve was the problem but it doesn't have it, maybe the pcv or oil separator, but it doesn't have it either.
also, is it normal our cars are too slow? i mean, mine is a manual but it is too slow, i know it is a 2.2 and it doesn't have a turbo but, still feels slow.
is it this one?
