Because they're not made for the C280?

18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 is about the limit, if im not mistaken.

i would just go with regular monoblock aero IIs.

chrome or the sliver ones? and what is the cheapest place to get them, and what are the best tires that go with them, and so what if those rims are not made for the c class why don't they work, i mean is the holes different or what, I wanted to know what actually does not make it work

offset and lug pattern are two main factors that determine if a rim will fit onto your vehicle.

www.nrauto.com has replica AMG Monoblocks for about $1000-$1300

my favorite tire is the Kumho (SP?) Ecsta MX

you mean yokohama AVS dB?

nittos are OK. pzeros are better. Ecsta MX is the best bang for the buck though!

real AMG wheels you say? they wont be cheap, thats for sure. i dont know any places where you can get a good deal but you can always go on ebay or www.tirerack.com

Don't forget about the Continental ConiExtreme Contact.

GREAT tires for the money and the best performing I've had in all seasons!

Also, another word on the replica wheels. The best deal I found on them was from Bekkers.com. I called and talked to someone to order them. Got a great deal, and if they get damaged I won't worry about it. Just get another one. They are made by Intra in Germany, stamped on the inside of the wheel.
