Stock shii stank...

I just recently added a clarion cd player to my 1998 c230 (non-bose). The stereo sounds ok...not too great..my mom's accord with a clarion cd player rips on mine. So my question is...what are the speaker sizes on the car? I think there is 6. I am thinking of changing all the stock speakers and running some nice speakers in the stock holes. I might just hold on lowering the car and change speakers first. Thanks.

The deck..i got installed. I just checked outt the speakers by removing the grills. The front I believe is 5.25 inch and the rear doors are 4 inch and the rear shelf has 5.25 or 6.25 inch woofers? Am i correct.

alxc230... Thats nice that yours sounds good...but what do you mean by good. I turn up the volume and I don't hear clarity...I dont hear good quality. Do you have a bose system? and what year is your car?

easy HU install?

Anyone know if I can drop an Alpine CDA-9807 into the dash and run it with the existing stock Bose setup in my '99 c230k? I want to be able to play MP3s! Could I still control the (non-MP3) disc changer in the trunk with this aftermarket Alpine deck?

Thanks!
