MB Service Manuals

I've searched everywhere for a repair manual for my C class and cannot find anything. I've tried Helms Chilton Haynes and Bently, none of which make anything for the w202 chassis. Bently seems to be the most professional offering like an 800 page manual for cars like BMW's. That is kind of what I am looking for. Something very professional. I've seen software on ebay for sale but I have been told to stay away from that junk. Does anyone have any suggestions??

I've been looking for the same w/o success. Apparently no such thing exists for our cars: MB want to be the only ones to service them .
I am considering joining Alldata, a password protected online database. The $25.00 annual fee seems reasonable.

Well, the only place that I can come up with any sort of literature is from mercedes benz themselves. You can either go to www.startekinfo.com and pay $18 for a day pass (it gets more expensive as you want to go further, i.e. $3000 for a years pass. SCREW THAT!! )I've also heard that you can get software from your dealer but I don't know for sure and that might be $$$$$

One clever use could be:

Get a one day subscription, figure out all the info you might need then download and print out as much of it as possible.

Yeah, I thought about that, but all I need to figure out is how to take out the sunroof shade. I would also like to have the reference for future repairs.

I just ordered it.

Thanks a million!

No problem. Glad to help out. Let me know if there is anything else I might be able to shed some light.

I think is a good Idea to buy the software from ebay. I have always bought software from ebay and I have a friend thats a mechanic for BMW and I showed him the software that I bought for my past car and he said that it was the same one that he uses at the dealer. But yeah that does suck that no one makes a repair manual for the W202's.
