to dress the car up. The badge I tried to mount was less than I expected. Would have been nice to have a metal badge with screw mounts instead of plastic. I have a second grill insert on the way too.... Sometime I wonder if I
should leave this stuff alone... Anyone else have these sort of things happening? I need a quality aftermarker source for the W202...

agreed..i was going to buy an aftermarket grill but after reading the a thread on the oem one i will spend the money as i would rather have quality then have to replace every 1-2yrs

tired of hearing horror stories of clear corners, replacement bulbs, & cheap rims/ tires

Unhappy

Cheap equals become often expensive in the long run. That's my experience

My brother bought a cheap avantguarde grill for his W210. Two weeks later the chrome almost fell off from the plastic. It had to be glued on again. A lot of work but we got an ok result at the end.

That's what I've learned the hard way. I have a $142 grill insert arriving tomorrow so I'll see if it's any better (at least I hope so).
