Anyone have alignment issues after lowering?
Getting ready to install Eibach springs and Koni Shocks but the MB Stealership (the only place to get an alignment in my area) said they do not think that the car will align correctly without a "alignment kit". Anyone had this issue? Tire Rack does not sell a kit for the Eibachs.
TIA

No problems here.
I installed the Eibach Pro Kit with the stock Sport Springs on my 99 C280 Sport and lowered the car to about 1 finger gap with a set of AMG 18's and have had no alignment issues.
Install was done by a buddy of mine who is a MB tech and he even did the alignment at the shop.
Make sure you put the right spring pads on to get the right effect.

Would you not use the same size pads/shims that came on the car? If not how would you know without installing the springs, testing and then reinstalling if they are not correct?? Could get expensive.

I think I put 4's in the back and 2's in the front. (whichever is lower up front to give the car a raked looked - a bit higher in the rear)
The tech who did my car drives a C36 so I just asked him what he used and went with his suggestion.
I will try and take a pic and post it.

I got my eibach and konis installed, then had it aligned at the dealership and everything is within spec.
If your camber is too negative, youc an get a rear camber kit from speedybenz on club202.com and a front camber kit from many manufacturers... on myc ar the camber was still less than -2 everywhere.

Thanks to everyone, here is a photo of the result
Here is my ride after the Eibachs' and Konis'. Car went down at least 2 inches in the front, way more than spec but I can not be happier.
Thanks to all for advise and help. Now to get an alignment and I am set.

I have had springs for two years now. My allignment has always had negative camber and my tire have worn out quicker. It's a higher price to pay for great handling. I have been to 4 different places including two dealers to try to get the allignment in spec. There is nothing they can do.

My car is lowered to no finger gap. The allignment is done as far as it can go. The only option is to drill the camber allignment holes bigger to give it more room to slide.
