drove to Lime Rock, Connecticut to hit 1000 miles
Yesterday my car started the day at 946 miles and ended at 1091, I drove my car up to Lime Rock and back to pass the 1000 mile break in point. I took Rt. 63 from Middlebury all the way up to Falls Village where it runs into Rt. 7 and then down to Lime Rock and then Rt. 7 till Danbury. Those are my favorite roads in north western Connecticut.
After I passed the 1000 mile break in point I did some 0-60s and measured HP with my G-Tech Pro. My best 0-60 was 6.8 seconds and HP measured at 186. Here are the photos.

Dude you are a nut case lol Just to hit 1000 miles. Hope you have a nice time driving fast, but be careful. Just got my first speeding ticket ever! damn! Doing 117mph

man, I live not too far away from there, right in West Hartford, CT. I still remember when my first car hit the first 1000 miles (it wasn't a Merc though)

That looks like a Garmin...I have a Garmin chart plotter on my RIB... The boat tops out at only 35 mph... How in the hell did it figure max speed of 89.5? The only place that can happen is if its on the trailer... I questioned my dad about that one!!!

Your performance computer... Does it require frontal area to determine HP? Mine does and the value I found was 22.4965 FT²... What did you use if you needed it?

Garmin eTrex Legend. most of the time it's fine but every once in awhile the max speed will say something crazy. once it said 2,000 mph.
For the Gtech Pro to calculate horsepower it just needs you to input the car's weight then you stick it to the windshield and drive hard, takes about a minute to get a good reading. you can get one for $27 on ebay.
