$2500 under invoice ???????
hey every one i am in the market for a 2005 c230 and i called a local dealer here in los angeles cali and i got this quote. the msrp on the car i want is......
$37,170 and the edmunds invoice price is $34,620 the dealer told me she would give me a price of 2500 under invoice. witch come's out to $32,120 and she said that wasn't her last price and that when i am ready to lease the car then we could talk a little more. so i was thinking i could get a fully loaded c230 for about $30,000. do you guys this this is a kick *** deal? or you think i might be able to sqeeze more out of the dealer ?

i think you $30k is pushing it for a "fully" loaded C230WZ. your saying every option, or most, including COMAND, heated seats, phone, powerseats, leather, etc.
who knows these days though! im not a car salesman, so what do i know.

sunroof package
auto trans
navi
and power seats

it's possible
I got my 2005 C230 last month for close to $3K under invoice...so it's possible. My MSRP was $35,400, invoice was around $33,500, and my sale price was $30,500. This was in So. Cal (where after reading many posts, I think buyers get the best deal in So. Cal because of the numerous dealers in the area). On my C230 I got: automatic, sunroof package, entertainment package, and power seats.
Good luck...push for $30K...if not, it's still a good deal.
BTW, anynone selling AMG 18's? I'm thinking about putting some on my new ride.

well rizzo i am sure that i can get the deal i was quoted....if you want i could hook you up with the sale's person that gave me the quote and try to see if we get a couple of C-CLASS'S they might be able to give us a crazy deal ? kinda like a group buy.

I got mine $1900 under invoice. Well, its more like a $1400 actually he freaking bumb me up with some kinda of a fee..
My MSRP on the car is 39080 and I got the car for 348xx fully loaded without the phone system shxt.
He mentioned the invoice had a $500 fee of some kinda something like IRC particpation fee which I check with a friend who work in another MB dealership siad there is really such thing.... well I dunno but 1900 or 1400 is still ok for me i guess in N.Cali and I need a car in urgent and freaking waited for 2 months for it to come.
Finance rate: 4.2 patelco tier1 rate.
Bay Area Cali.
Did I get a good deal btw? lol

Bought the car for $33k before tax/title/licensing.
Came out to e$36k after tax/title/licensing.
Keep in mind, I special ordered my car in December and it was made/delivered by March 15, 2004. I also special ordered a 2004.5 a few months before the facelift changes and the 2005 was released.
I thought I got a great deal (especially cuz the car only had 2 miles on it and was special ordered), but there are a lot of others that have gotten better.
