3-5 hp is aactually alot ..also depends how much he paid...
basically its almost 100 dollar for a couple hp ..
1000 for 20-30 hp for pully..
around there...
once your done most mods.. throttle is a good idea to gain a little

Just a little anxouis. I was also thinking I should ask drex since its his car and he has been driving it since the mod. I was curious to see how the ecu adjusted for the increase air. It takes some time before these cars completely adjust to new mods. Also i am just alittle anxious. I also remember you said you might add a spacer, so I just like to think what my plans are with this new mod. I love the fact that it is undetectable!

After 1 week driving with this thing, I can tell Everybody that it is definitely worth it (even though it's a very small gain). The biggest part I notice is in overtaking/passing and merging onto freeways. I didn't think the high end power would make a difference for me (since a lot of times I'm on the side streets), but having that little extra 'bit of power/torque helps trememdously (especially with the abundance of dumb drivers there seems to be in L.A.).
Anyways, the low end lag that is normally there has definitely decreased as well, however, it's still slightly there, so combining the sprint booster with this might be quite nice. Either way, for the price, it's definitely worth it.

you know, i noticed once i put my catback on that the mid range and uper end increased noticably. I wonder if doing a catback exhaust is yielding the same results as doing the throttle body.

excites your girlfriend
dynos cost money, catback exhausts cost money, doing a dyno with every popular catback exhaust would cost lots of money, not to mention the time and labor cost of swapping everything, hooking it all back up to the dyno after each swap. if anyone with this kind of money actually cared they probably would not be pushing a c-class.

Exactly - hence the advantage of an easily bolt-on/bolt-off part, such as a bored out TB. But I also think it's good practice for people to get a baseline of their cars (just for reference). Don't know where you guys are dynoing, but you'll find some shops do 3+ runs for less than $100 in the Hermosa Beach Area including A/F/Boost.

Frank,
It was Church Automotive. I can't remember what city it's considered. You can kinda see the name at the top of the dyno pics I posted. Head out on Friday, if you can. Me and flip are gonna be there again for more stuff.
