Ed,

I'm so sorry man. My charger did not charge my phone so by 11am, my phone was dead. I never even got your missed call. I asked Phil real quickly to pm you and let you know.

Update is we are not completely done cuz we ran into some snags that delayed us with installs. Car is goin' back there on Friday, but I'm leavin' it at the shop until Saturday. We'll most likely dyno then too, but just depends on how soon we can get it done.

Hit up flip and he can give you some updates too.

YEAH - like UPS delivering my stuff a day and a half late AND being Next Day Air..! Friday's perfect for "after-break-in" tinkering .

Yup. Definitely fun. They're not broken in yet, but will as soon as I have some friendly driving with them on.

Sorry Frank. I'll apologize on flip's behalf too. That guy was so focused on getting to the hardware store that we just bounced. I did want to call you guys, but my phone was completely dead.

Can't wait to see the dynos on your car too. Hopefully there'll be time next time.

Drex, my Renntech pulley came with an ITG filter with "Renntech" painted on it in white.

I've replaced it with a Green filter since. My photo didn't have a red "X", though.

Did you get it directly from them? Surpised that you didn't get a filter. Oh, and if it were me, I'd leave off the RT badges, but since it's not... They remind me of the "Powered by JDM" and so forth from a couple of years ago in the Honda/Nissan comm.

Really, tommy? I think that maybe there might be a slight difference between a m111 kit vs. the m271 kit. That's the only logical thing I can think of. Either way, the k&n seems to be doing alright for the car.

Basically came direct from them, but didn't really see it until after it was installed at the shop I went to.

Yeah, I was debating back and forth about the badges. I thought it'd be a nice touch to replace the "Sport" badges, but I am having cold feet. Especially because I like the thought of my car being a "sleeper" (until, of course, my exhaust is completed w/ muffler and custom cat-back piping).

Me too. I don't think that RT would miss putting an air filter in there, if one were part of the kit. They're not like that (their margins are already bad enough!).

Yeah, I doubt it also. Renntech has a good reputation as is, so no reason for them to stiff people. Either way, I'm still lovin' the pulley. Can totally feel the difference.

to be honest man, I don't like the small "powered by" badges b/c it really sounds like those "powered by VTEC" badges. I'd keep the sport ones on.

BUT, I'd put the big one on the trunklid! I've seen E55's with the ///AMG taken off and replaced by the Renntech one and it is ****ing sweet!

Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna put the powered by stickers on, but not sure where I'm gonna use the chrome emblem yet.

Here are some updates...

Okay, so I have my car back for a little bit just to see how it runs, but it's going back in the shop for more "touching up". Hopefully my car will be completely "done" by the summer (i.e. body kit, brakes, & nice clean/reliable/proven performance).

Here are some video clips my homeboy helped me take tonight. I just wanted everybody to get a feel for how the Kleemann muffler sounded (aside from idle rev). Sorry that the Kompressor is a 'bit over bearing... I apologize for the lack of lighting and not that great sound. These were taken with my Sony DSC-t7, which is not exactly meant for night or vid quality. Enjoy!

btw, for those of you that are wondering, I merged all the threads I started with mods to my car. It may be a little confusing, but just so you know. That includes long overdue first pics of my car, mh-dezent grille, mh-dezent roof spoiler, bored throttle body, and a bunch of other things.

Yea, the supercharger is a bit over bearing. Sound nice but i think a better video camera would make your Kleeman muffler stand out much more. Can't wait til your project is complete!

Sounds nice and healthy. Personally, I like the supercharger whine too.

Are you pleased with the fit and finish? Any performance improvement?
