Just noticed, the extra hole that Harry has does not go all the way through the rotor. Shouldn't make any difference.

Oh btw was it a direct bolt on or you need to modified somthing. Does it work with the original brake air-pump(or whatever you call it in english) and lines?

direct bolt-on except on the rear you'll need minor trimming on the heat shield.

Those brakes are beautiful.

Did your previous setup ever fail generate sufficient brake torque to induce incipient lockup or activate the BAS/ABS? Perhaps they faded enough to vaporize their DOT 4+ fluid? The only reason I ask, with all due respect, is that after enthusiastic tests on the track my OE brakes (with Porterfield pads) never failed to repeatedly haul ‘er down from triple digit velocities with alacrity.

They've gotta be the 030's because the regular ones aren't 2 piece floating (well, not that I know of).

What happened to keeping your car light, Frank?...

Thanks. They've been heated enough from the break in time. Squeak like hell, but I figure that'll be around for a little bit until they're fully broken in from 1 weeks worth of driving. Bedding looks like it went perfect cuz the rotors are glazed evenly.

Thanks, Michael. I don't think I can stop the mod addiction, which has gotten progressively worse since I bought this car. Much like it has for you, too!

It was a direct bolt-on because I bought these from Pshek, who was initially going to put them on his car, but decided to stick with his Alcon's. There was slight modification needed to the rear sheild, but I didn't need to do any of that since Pshek already had the brakes prepped by the same shop that installed (TWS).

Original brake lines are the same.

John, Nope, previous brake setup was AWESOME for my car w/o the power of a C32/C55. Only reason I upgraded was because I needed new rotors and pads anyway and had been considering upgrading the brakes for a long time. So it was perfect timing.

Loved my OEM setup with the Porterfields. But I love the new setup even more and I figured, w/ Pshek having that 030 setup available (ready for install on a w203), might as well do it now and take them off his hands.

Hahaha...I'm thinking it may be the slight difference between the CLK 63 setup vs. the SLK? Maybe I have the SLK 030 and Harry (according to the part numbers) has the CLK 63?

Heh...unless there's another 2 piece floating set out there, it's gotta be the real deal.
