Okay, so i was wrong. there is a resonator on the C230k ss. at least up to 2004.5. Updates later today.

Hello New Exhaust Exit!
Repositioning the muffler was a very good idea:
Pretty impressive welding.
I always said I wouldn't get a full cat-back. I guess I was wrong. BTW, OEM piping is smaller than the "talk" that had been indicated. It's around 2.25-2.5, which is still decent and didn't really want to increase.
This tool works so much better than a dremel. I want one!
Wow, pretty close to the spare tire well...oh well
Not quite a 55, but looks pretty damn close!... All show, no go...well, I guess a little go in my case.
I guess they're done! Can anybody see the piping? Black paint ftw!

The left exhaust moved out a 'bit. I may have to go back to get everything positioned right once the new mods have settled.
Can you see my muffler or any piping?

Here's a little video clip I tried to take going up the hill with my PAS Sony camera.

It's louder at WOT for sure. Cruising sounds similar, but I can tell the difference in sound. Not sure I like it. May put resonator back on, but we'll see how it gets as the days go on and the exhaust settles in.

yeeeah bro - looks pretty sick! lol told you there was a res :p. So minor touch up paint FTW? did they do well with the tip uncut etc? Hopefully they can deal with a K-tip on Brabus rear curves just as well. Looks good!

I don't think they'll have a problem. They kept asking me over and over how I wanted it to sit. The repositioning of the Muffler was the sickest part, the way they did it! Such a clean install.
BTW, for those LA peeps that are wondering where I got it done. Got it done at AAA.

Did they delete the resonator to help position stuff? Or was it one of those split-decision things haha - you should be a bit more droney judging from what miggy's car sounded like after his exhaust install. Looks awesome, hopefully I can get this done next weekend so we can photoshoot again.
