auto trans C240
...Does anyone else get a double bump with each shift point from their automatic transmission? I cannot determine if acceleration and temperature play a role or not, just when I think it does, the car does something different. I realize it changes programms according to throttle input. Heavy throttle, higher shift points, harder bump..Mine, bumps twice, no flare in the middle, just seemingly two engagements. Dealer has checked 3 times, no problem found. ?

doesnt sound odd to me i get something like that when in lets say first gear right before shifting into 2nd i let go of the gas then press it again it kind of jerks....is that a symptom you are getting or it is every gear? or am i speaking about something totally different

happens to me when i accelerate hard between 1st and 2nd and a little between 2nd and 3rd. i guess thats how the car was made. i find it annoying but there's nothing i can do about it. I've read in prior threads a rough tranny can be a sign of a bad torque converter. My pops also said that the ETCU on some of the 01's have given problems.
