my right front fog light lens got cracked by a rock. has anyone replaced this yet and how easy is it to get to. I am hoping to replace it my self and save the dealer repair costs.

Don't know about replacing them, but you might want to consider puttting on something like stongard when you put the new lens on. They're thick as hell, and would have probably saved your lens. Much cheaper!
Check Clairparts for their price; should be a little cheaper than dealers.

Apparently Clairparts doesn't carry this item or the headlight protectors for the coupe but maybe it is just their product search engine. I think this topic will become ever more popular as our odds of avoiding the "son of a ..." break diminish. Are there some other sites to look at?

you could always contact x-pel and ak to buy a 8.5x11 sheet of the protector and then after you get the light replaced just do some "custom" cutting for the fog lights. I have sen the headlight covers availible for the coupe, cant remember where.

My headlight protection is from LeadingEdge, and got it installed at Competition MB in Smithtown, Long Island.
Xpel and Stongard each have their own versions; basically same 3M crap, so you might as well comparison shop.
As far as Clairparts, you'd have to call. There are other on-line sources that have ads in the Star; I'll post their names tonight, unless someone beats me to it.

Hello guys,
My right fog light glass broke aswell last week. I ordered the part from MB, it took a day to come in. I'll post the part number once I dig it up from the trash.
Fairly easy to do, took me 15 min.
Turn the wheel all the way to the right, I feel that it was easier to access the wheel panel, or you could just take off your wheel.
There are three 10mm size nuts that are located on the lower part of the wheel panel
On that same panel there are two snap tight fasteners.
I bought extra fasteners from MB just in case I screwed one up.
Pull the center pin out with a flat head, once the pin is out you could pull out the whole thing with your fingers.
On the bottom of your front bumper you will see 4 or 5 more fasteners, can't remember.
After you pull those out you could pull the wheel panel out to get access to your fog light.
There are two 8mm nuts holding your fog light in place. There are on both sides of the lamp, you can't miss them. Once you pull those nuts out you could push your fog light out from the outside in.
The fog light glass cost me 25 dollars from MB and the fasteners were a buck each.
Hope this helps guys

Not to you . . . you can't see them while you are driving your car.
Looks nice to other drivers?? This may come as a surprise to you, but other drivers are not impressed at all with your fog lights being on during clear nights, and do not marvel at how "good" it looks. Other drivers are only ANNOYED by your "Xtreme white" fog lights blaring on clear nights and well-lit city streets.
That's the simple truth.

I think you are suffering from post-traumatic stress from your knifepoint "car-jacking."
I hear in addition to looking for the "real killer," OJ is also looking for your "car-jacker."
LOL!

Anyone have luck finding a clear yellow lense? My and right lense shattered again yesterday due to a lame *** rock truck.
Also, p/n's for the left and right of the regular clear lense?
