GLE 350 Tires Question

I have the Pirelli all season tires. They are ready to be replaced. They are very expensive. Has anyone tried a different tire?
I tried a few places and found a Bridgstone Dueler that is priced well. Also a Bridgestone Drove Guard. Do I have to replace like with like?

Thank you.

Brian

Check your dealer's pricing.
Sometimes they all beat all the competitors in pricing, and it includes a 2-year road hazard warranty.

Pretty sure the 21" and above tires have different sizes for the front and back tires. Do you need runflat tires?

This is a good place to start looking.

So you don’t buy wrong sizes.

Please triple check now. As you do not have the size front and back.

Wow , this is a nice website. Does Mercedes have any other websites like this for other services where we can compare ?

No they don't unfortunately.

You should cross shop what MBUSA tire site with your local tire shops just to get the best price. Sometimes MBUSA is cheaper and sometimes not but it's nice to get a loaner for changing out tires so sometimes paying a little more is worth the value of the loaner vehicle.

Agree. It's worth a call.
Plus the 2 year road hazard that's included, non-pro-rated, with labor.
Dealers only sell MO (Mercedes spec) tires. (plus the variants MO-1, MOE, MO-S, etc.)

All 4 tires are the same size, 21". I tried the dealer at $1,800 for the Pirrelli tires. I called two other places that were $1,600 for the same tires.

Thank you for all the replies.

They are all 21” tires. The ones in the back are normally wider. What did the Mercedes website give you for sizes when you put in the year and model of your GLE?

@brianaboo we're all wondering about your tire sizes.

As has been said, we thought the OE tires for 21 in and above were staggered, both in size and wheel offset.
20's and below had square size but front and rear wheel offsets were different.

It may be different on a 350 (I don't think I've seen a post from a 350 owner on 21s), and you may not have OE Wheels.

But it's worth checking your mounted sizes. And let us know what you find.

if you getting them from another vendor makes sure you purchase their warranty with each tire. that looks like a Discount Tire price. Add the warranty to that and it will be about the same as MB price. you tire size is 275 front / 315 rear on that 21 inch wheel.
