I love the extreior of my car. I think it is the best out there for the price range. But its a piece if you know what i mean.

1. upgraded sound system ($980)
I get no sound at least twice a month (great SOUND system)
at least once or twice a month the sound comes in all distorted for no reason once again great sound system
I had to put tape on my drivers door to stop the rattling of the speaker
and others speaker rattle all the time and i do not put the bass up past level 3

2. Ive been to service twice in 2 weeks for my SRS light. 1st time they didnt fix it and we will if it works now (ive had it back for 1 day now)

3. The air conditioning doesnt come on when i want it to and when it does it leaves a bad odor. They said they have to order a kit to fix it so its going back monday AGAIN (3 times in 3 weeks)

4. After all that i need service A in 12 days and they want to charge me $250! And so far my two loaner cars have been a Hyudai (dont know the correct spelling) and an Envoy.

I know i have the cheapest mercedes but for a sticker price of $35,000 it shouldnt have all these problems with only 8000 miles on it. Thinkin bout a bmw or cadillac or infiniti as my next car.

are you kidding? that's hardly anything to complain about. atleast your tranny isn't leaking, your sunroof works, your engine hasn't blown up, your trunk doesn't rattle, etc...

$250 for service is way cheap. I remember my service bills for a bmw 3 series were much more expensive than that. I recall everytime i brought the car in, the bill came out about $800 or $1000. One time it came out to be $3000 because i had to fix the sunroof. of course, this was after the free maintenance period had lapsed.

i hear what your saying man. hope i don't run into any problems with mine. just got rid of my bmw. best car i've ever owned, not one single issue in 45k miles. i've had a few maxima's and infiniti I30t (same car pretty much), all were great except some small issues with one. sounds like your car just has some little annoying things, nothing major which is good. i'm sure once they're fixed you'll be ok. 547 miles and so far so good (*knock on wood*)

1. the audio system, have them look at it, you also may be pushing it past the system's limits and distorting the speakers. May have a short causing it to stop playing.
2. SRS should be working
3. Odor with A/C, car is new, maybe needs an air filter replaced for the interior. They use something similar to a charcoal filter for the interior air. As for it not coming on when you want it, sounds like the settings are probably wrong.
4. So you got to pay for service, sh#% happens. As for loaner cars, be happy you got them at all, most other companies don't give you loaner cars unless your car is going to be in there for weeks(Ford, Chevy, Nissan, etc.)

Sum it up, I think you have a right to complain about 1 & 2, the dealer should look at it, as for the last two, I don't personally think its a big deal, but thats just me.

heh, same here, i've gotten either a C240 4-matic or a C320 luxury sedan as my loaners, i haven't seen any other brands in their lot that they could loan out that weren't mercedes, maybe it's your dealership?

Here's something we've observed over the past few years... look at the posts in this section from 2002, it was all (err mostly) about performance mods of one kind or another. These days it is all about who has what going wrong. It sucks, you need to start complaining, you need to raise hell, you need to vote with your wallet, or we'll all end up owning the German Chevy.

And to every dumbass comment from the '04 and '05 guys about how cheap the C-Coupe is, think about how many faulty components you bums have, how many complaints, it's really pathetic.
