i have the sunroof package and lighting package but can't find the convenience settings in my cluster to enable the passenger side mirror reverse feature. do i need a specific package to do it?

:RTFM: Unless there was a change from '04 to '05, all you have to do to enable the passenger side reverse feature is keep the indicator button (that selects which mirror you're adjusting) to the right (as if you're gonna adjust the passenger mirror).

When you go in reverse, the passenger mirror should move. Now, in order to "set" the reverse function, you should definitely RTFM again. Now, so that you won't have to do that, I'll just tell you since I'm wasting some time on the net right now.

All you have to do is move the passenger mirror into the position you need it to be in when going in reverse. Once your mirror is in the "right" position, just hold down the memory button and then press the mirror adjustment button to the right.

btw - you need the Power Driver Seat/Steering Col w/Memory option to have this feature, you didn't mention that you had it so i'm assuming that's why it wont work...

thank you, that was what i was asking. i tried doing it but it wouldn't work so i assumed i needed some sort of package that my car was not equipped with.

my 330Ci had it as well (i think it's a standard feature) and i miss having it. great feature to have IMO especially since i'm not the greatest parallel parker and get nervous about scraping my wheels. when i get out of the car now, i find myself about 2 feet away from the curb, when with the 330, i was about 2 inches away
