Well I've searched alot before posting and I have found the type of grill that I am looking at getting but have a few questions also. I am really wanting the CLK type grill but I dont know if the clk type grill will fit my 230k sedan. Ive read that the clk grills like may or may not fit C55's or C32's or something like that but I didnt know if the CLK grill would fit my C230....I was going for the CL type grill but after seeing C230Coupe's old black clk grill it slod me more than the CL type. Best place to get the CLK grill also? Thanks alot guys! Much appreciated

The CLK grill will only fit on a C55, thats because the entire front end of the C55 is really a CLK front end.

You'll need to search around for a grill for regular C-class.

check out jerry's aka (SilvaC32) CLK grille on his C32...

I searched but couldnt really find what needed to be done in order to get this to fit other than ''cutting here and there.....and in the end I dont think it was really worth all the work''. I really like the CLK grill but is there much difference between the CLK and the CL?...I honestly dont know these things and figured you guys would. So would it be worth getting the CL grill instead? If it looks similar to the CLK then I guess it'll be fine but I dont know. Please do fill me in guys!! Thanks

Thanks for the help man, I was checking out all your pics last night and really dig what you've done. You got your cl type grill from formymercedes.com right? Can you let me know how that went and the service/ price etc. is with them?....Im only going to do this also if its super easy- i've had enough "easy" installs on my vw's that if its a pain then I prolly dont want to do it

Ah the wait will probably kill me. Now at FMM is it an OEM cl grill? How long was your wait? If its not an OEM then maybe I can go to the parts dept at my dealer....

usually it's shipped out right away as long as it's in stock.
but he currently has family matters that causes delay...
