Lol, I was just thinking that if anyone with a truly fast car was to read these recent C230 vs. c240 posts, they would laugh their ***** off. Of course I don't think either camp is pretending their cars are fast, but to an outsider with a lot of speed we look like wives arguing about vacuum cleaners.

Cheers all.

Yes... I do look at you guys like you are arguing about a Dirt Devil Upright vs a Eureka Self Propelled!!! But I'm a sailor so I do the same thing!!! My boat can sail at around 9 knots in decent winds and moderate swells, any takers?! Oh yeah, I also own a C230K thats not all that quick... But it will beat my boat!

If hes ever on the south shore of Long Island we'll give it a go!
Rules of the road for sailors: Any two boats going in the same direction ARE racing.

well, he docks at dana point yacht club, out here in orange county, so i don't think we will be out to nyc any time soon! i don't mind crewing the boat, but that's a little too far for me!

I would say yeah thats a bit far! My boat came from CA when we bought it, but it came by truck, it just barely fits the road limits though! The nice thing about sailing over powerboating is on long trips when you get there you are relaxed and ready to go!

We are up there for usually about a week every summer. Go to the Thimble Islands, Old Lyme, Mystic, Essex, Hamburg cove and a few others! You know the Amtrak tressle by Old Lyme south of the I95 bridge? They took down our mast by closing the bridge while we were still under it!

-edit-

Oh and according to some, I may stand a chance to beat you!!! LOL! just kidding!

No, it didnt sink... The mast snapped about a foot above the deck causing 55+ feet of mast and rigging to fall aft towards the ****pit. I wasnt there at the time, but the way it came down both my parents were really lucky that they didnt even get hurt let alone killed! Final insurance check total... $39,994... You know the guy in accounting is screaming "You couldnt just give an extra $6? YOU'RE MAKING MY LIFE HELL WITH THESE UNEVEN NUMBERS!!!"

-edit-
DAMN CENSORSHIP!!!
