So doods my fenders are shredding the crap out of my Toyo Proxes...
...I had H&R CO's installed this last week, so I have the car now slammed from the front. BUT they had to install spacers-but now the outer part of my tire is being shredded. You think I can send my front wheels back to HRE and have them redone to clear CO AND let the car be slammed? Or should I just flare out the fenders a bit? BrabusW203, Jonji, or anyone w/HRE and H&R CO's care to chime in?

ouch... man that hurts.. it looks like a paper shredder.... did you try the 5mm spacers? if that doesnt work.. then try sending the wheels back to HRe to get redone for Co specs....if you dont wanna spend 500 like what ben sed.. you can just flare out the fenders... that should be to much

How about rolling and shave the rear fenders. I recently had mine aligned to spec and after the alignment it was rubbing and cutting the tire too. Had to roll the rear fenders and shave some the bumper and now I have no problems at all.

But I don't think it's gonna help you (I forgot that you added a spacer). Fender rolling might help. Mine was like that, but I found out that it wasn't the fender that cause it. My front wheels rubbed against the bolt in the fender well ...esspecially when I made a full turn.

What is the motivation behind hurting the handling of the vehicle, improved appearance?
The tires and wheels won't rub if the vehicle remains parked. The handling won't be hurt when it's parked too.

i had the same exact problem. Boy was it a pain to fix. We shaved to the bare metal. You might want to try different tires with a more round tirewall. But hope you get it solved....I feel your pain buddy.

When u install H&R coilover or the like u need a lower offset wheels since the CO has a bigger spring at the top, and look at the pic, the TOYO is practically shredded by the fender.
You seriously need to get it fixed man, i just change my tyres and it worn out normally, after they take it off the wheels and i checked the inside, there was a couple of blister

The shaving has officially solved it. I am just not feeling that I have to use a spacer, I will send out my wheels to get redone I guess-sometime
