Limited Slip Differentials

I've been searching through the MBusa site and the AMG sites and i was not able to find any info about the differentials MB uses. I know for a fact that the C-classes have an open differential, so i'm wondering if the AMG models might have a LSD? MB doesn't list any info about this(well i didn't fine any). I was thinking because the AMG's are a much higher class model, MB might include that... info and opiniosn would be appreciated.

Yah i don't think any C's do, but do any mercedes at all have it? It's kinda bad that AMG offers all these upgrades but not the LSD, which can do soo much with all the power they put in the cars.

Evosport has a LSD listed on their website. Not sure if it'd fit or not though.

from what I understand the only cars that have limited slip are the 4WD models. The M and G class have them for sure. The 4matics maybe electronic though.

Yah evosport sells em as an aftermarket upgrade, so does kleeman for all their models. I just think it's dissapointing that mercedes didn't include such an important component in their AMG class models.

Apexing a long sweeping turn on track and accelerating out to get the most speed down the straight, I've found my sell saying, "My kindom for a limited slip"

However, I am afraid that Kleemann only sells them for the V8 models (I think), and Evosports are for the V6 and V8. Our diff is the same as the C240/320, so we could use the V6 LSD Evosport sells, but $4500 beans. Fully built units for BMWs from Diffsonline cost 1/4th of the Evosports. I wish the price was a little more reasonable and less MKB like. Glad it's available, but I can't afford it in a street/DE car.

On a road course... hell no, LOL. I've heard many a story about locked (welded) diffs in RWD track cars... I shall pass.

I thought ESP simulates the functions of a Mechanical LSD? Isn't that enough for the street?

No it's not. It's total bull*****. On track and on the street you can lift the inside tire and spin it like hell (with modified suspension).

Their version is for the 60+ crowd.

In my file they say "Diferential lock-multiple disc limited slip differential (30%)" 3079.80€ but only for the C32

Also available there is a "manual shift program-modified transmission management unit with hold function" 1328,20€ only for c32 again

Other interesting thing is the AMG Nürburgring sports suspension (springs + shocks) 1136,80€ for the C30CDI AMG and C32 AMG

You could copy individual pages into Paint or a smilar program, save as individual pics and then upload them.
