Fastest car I've been in: 2001 Ferrari 360 Modena w/ F1 tranny.

 

Four wheels, 01' Corvette Roadster 165 MPH...top down of course.

Two wheels, 01" Suzuki GSXR 1000, 182 MPH.

Obviously some speedo error in both cases but both were very fast and relatively quick.

 

While racing a friend in a Impala SS, who has a few bolt-on mods, I pulled past him at about 150 MPH while the heads up display in my 1999 C5 Hardtop read 171...172 MPH. The road made the Z51 suspenion feel real soft that when reality hit. It is time to slow down. The C5 was fast up to about 140 MPH or when you had to shift into 5th. Up to that speed the smaller displacment sport bikes try to stay in your wake.

My Ducati ST4 will pull 9000 RPMs in 5th gear which is about 150-155. And that is with the stock hardbags on. It really surprises the squids when your saddle bagged equipped pulls up along side them after a turn.

The fastest accelerating car I've ever driven was the Subaru Impress WRX but the car I've driven the fastest was my old '85 Corvette at an indicated 130. If bikes count then my Buell is a little faster than the Subie but I've only had it up to 120.

I had the honor of sitting shot gun in a single turbo Mustang Cobra that was putting down 1500 rwhp. That was the most incredible ride in a car I have ever had.

 

280-290 km/hr (indicated, not measured by GPS) in a delimited R129 SL600

 

Fastest I ever drove was a HIGHLY modded twin turbo 300ZX, pretty much a rolling HKS catalog. That was the only car to ever actually give me tunnel vision under hard acceleration. Hit 140, with lots of leg left. As crazy as this sounds, I would be surprised if anything other than a 'Busa could out accelerate this Z.

Fastest shot gun ride...toss up between a supercharged ZR1 and a 92 black viper (pretty sure it was a 92). Both were crazy fast but still no match for the above mentioned Z that I drove. Hit just over 130 in both.

Bike, did 140 on my Honda RC51.

 

165 mph in a Porsche 944 turbo S, with plenty left ...

 

Porsche Carrera 4S as passenger approaching but not achieving 300Kph - my ringpiece tension warning light was flashing brightly - thank god not loudly

 

Ford Capri. 1969 3,0. 220 km/h.
Audi 200 TQ 20V. 1989. 245 km/h.
Audi V8 Q 1991. 235 km/h.

 

200mph in a 700rwhp 2003 Cobra, I have 4 buddys with one each(one has two of em)

 

I have been to 165mph in a 1992 Infiniti Q45, it is the ultimate sleeper. Looks like and is a family sedan, big and heavy, but with the same engine block(4.5 liters, quad OHC variable timing) that is used for racing by nissan.

Mine had a couple of mods speed limiter disable, 1st gear start,.......etc
At that speed it was quiet and stable, but scared me to death, because I was on V rated tires.

 

Friends 2000 Audi S4 with some mods, don't know exactly what he has but it was fast. It felt so good being pushed back against the seat

Topspeedwise, probably my C230K I've took her up to 130MPH and that's about the fastest I've gone in a car.

 

I have done 165 in a 2004 cobra, 147 in my g35, and only have taken my c230 to 135, but fastest car I have ever been in has been my best friends dads 2003 911 turbo x50. From 10-80mph was incredible and after that it felt like the world was starting to turn backwards. incredible speed.

 

the fastest cars ive been in was my friends dads Ferrari enzo on I80 in NNJ and we were defiantly going 140+, rougly 160 or 170 i would say, after we hit 130 i was ultimatly ****ting my pants; and also my uncles 911 gt3 hes a crazy **** and loves to speed; they were both an incredible rush. but i think the enzo tops it for me

 

Quickest Turbo Miata - 0 to 60 ~ 5 sec
Fastest 540i Sport ~ 155 mph

Both were a blast to drive and own just expensive to ensure and repair!

 

over 150mph in an eagle talon twin turbo with mods...scary stuff in that car, hah

 

Rode in: 1. 2000 GT Kenne Bell Supercharged Mustang pushing i believe it was a bit over 400RWHP. I can't think of another car. This car was doing 7.5 in the 1/8th mile and about 11.7-11.9 in the quarter mile. It was pretty fun. Got on the freeway and punched it from 0-140 in a matter of about 15-20 seconds...

2.And a 2003 SVT Cobra pushing about 410 RWHP. He went to about 140-150 on the street.

Driven: 2001 V6 Mustang. 208RWHP/225 RWTQ. Hit 145+ on the freeway maxing out almost 5th gear.

 

Maxed it out to the limiter... 135mph... in my current c320 coupe... =D

 

This thing is fast, but for $600K it oughta be -

 

Not the fastest, and I didn't get to open it up on the highway, went for a test drive in the town of Greenwich, CT. So pretty much just got to feel what it's like to use e-gear, and hear the awesome sound of the engine up to about 60mph. Also test drove a Spyker C8 Spyder in Greenwich as well, 6 speed manual.

 

fastest car would problably have to be my friends EXTREMENLY fast 03 Evo. It was a beast!! That thing would launch like crazy, felt like I was in a rocket car 165 tops

But fastest I've gone in a car is in my 07 C230; 152 then I started coming up on traffic and I felt alot of bumps cus I had recently put on some rims

 

Fastest Ive driven is in my 2004 twin turbo cobra (1000hp at 170+mph)...fastest I been the passenger was in a F40 at about 150 or so...
