Wheel Question...

Will W202 wheels fit on a W203? I'm about to buy a W203, but I love the wheels I have on my w202. They are 18" with 225/40/18 tires. Will they fit? Thanks.

You need to find out your wheels spec (offsets and width).
Your front wheel should have at least 2 inches clearance (from the back of the spoke to the mounting surface) otherwise it won't clear the front caliper on the 05 C230. The rear probably aren't aggresive enough but it's depend on the offset and width of the rims.
Worst come to worst, they will fit but you have to use spacers. How thick the spacers gonna be...you won't know 'till you test fitted the wheels on your new car.
Good luck and please post the pic of your new car.

for some reason those look real small on that car for being 18's. i guess the saying chrome makes wheels look small is true.

First of all, it's a simple 5 spoke wheel, like a 5 spoke wheel in your picture, only it's chrome and with the "rivots" around the outside. It's not something outrageous like on a "fast and furious" car that detracts from the car. Secondly, it's called being original. Not like the 95% of the people on this board that put the same AMG or the same Brabus or the same Lorinser wheels on their cars and everybody goes nuts over it. Wow, that's exciting. And what kills me is a hundred people will post a picture of the same looking silver C-Class and everybody will rave about like they've never seen one before, even though they're a dime a dozen, yet this is the second time in a year that I've posted a pic of my car which is a rare color and looks hot, and both times not one person has said anything nice and, in fact, has given me crap about something. Oh and by the way, the wheels that your are criticizing are almost identical to the ones the you just raved about 15 minutes later in that concept drawing of the Wald body kit car, only mine are chrome, So get a clue!

They're not really that small, they're 18's, which is the biggest you can put on their without modding anything.

I think they fit well with the w208, only thing that it desperately needs is LOWERING. I think that's the reason the rims look soo small cause there's so much space between the body n the rims. Will it look good on a c230? Well some 1 should do a lil photoshopping and see, might need to lower it also.
I don't think those rims are too flashy either, and it's nice to see something different once in a while.

Thanks for the props. My friends have always been on me about lowering it too, but I never knew how long I was going to have the car, so I didn't want to waste the money. The gap actually looks worse than it really is. It's only 2 1/4" from the top of the tire to the bottom of the wheel well opening. I'll do it on my new '05. I'm probably gonna keep that one a while.

Are u reffering to this??

Those wheels are not even close!!! I was just saying my opinion, no need to teach me how to get a clue, no biggie. Everyone has their own taste. If u think that wheels is the sh*t, then go ahead and put it on yours. Post pic when u've done it , peace.

RobbyGT,
Go and see how much clearance left for that wheel when it clear the front caliper? You need about 1 more inch for that wheel to fit on a 05.
05 C230 has larger diameter rotor not just only bigger caliper.
I don't think they will fit on an 05 C230 but there are always spacers that can make them fit...with the risk of the wheel will sticking out of the fender.
