steve said it works but the opening is smaller in the 203 and modifications would be required.

Why not just wait for the facelift to upgrade the cluster. IMO, the new C cluster will be far better looking than the CLK and likely a better fit.

The CLK55 cluster is nice but very little difference from other CLKs. I guess it is something about a big clock in the middle of the 3 guage cluster that screams "luxury". I would prefer a small clock and perhaps a temp guage along with fuel, tach and speed. I guess I am more of a sport kind of gal.

it's out of the question not that it doesn't physically fit. Will wait for the new c55 cluster then

My new interior mod
Here are a couple of pics of the new instrument cluster and 209/230 steering wheel. The instrument cluster is a PITA to install. I don't recommend anyone doing it. It requires quite a lot of modification to fit properly. There is still a few things I have to do. THe steering wheel and airbag is a direct fit as long as you have a 3 pin connector. All functions of the IC work fine. Radio stuff now displays on IC also. Programming of the IC still remains though. Mileage was programmed already. All submenus of the IC still need to be programmed.

did you get this cluster out of a 211 diesel? What are you going to do about the tach? Also, how much did this mod run you, parts wise?
