AMG supercharger on a C240 help!!!

Alright guys and gals,
stay tuned I'll be posting my progress as I install my AMG supercharger.
Autowerks Express agreed to fabricate and install my charger.
They have been looking for a project like this and got everything mapped out.
I'll be boosting with no more than 8lbs, which is a safe boost on my 240.
I'll be posting pics aswell. They are also fabricating an engine cover, which will look pretty cool.

AMGME: Cause he got a great deal on the AMG SC'er and it will still be cheaper to do it this way than to get a C32. Go Man Go, and keep us informed.

I got this AMG supercharger next to nothing, that's why I'm doing it.
This AMG supercharger came out of a c320 that a customer purchased as a kit from AMG and had the dealer install it.
I'm very exited
The question know is: I don't know whether to go with just the blower or add an intercooler??

the supercharger is a blower, and yes yes yes yes yes you need an intercooler. I'n not a pro at intercoolers but some others here are and I'm sure they will chime in about the inportance of the intercooler.

i'm a little confused. a c320 doesn't have a supercharger. the c coupe and the previous generation c230k sedan have one.
are you sure it's not the supercharger from a c32? i know you said it's not but just wondering what supercharger you're using since the c320 doesn't even use one.

it was a special order from AMG that was custom made for the C320 yes I said C320.

wow... this was an interesting topic.. seen a lot of ppl get into it. class c, i am also learning a lot from this thread. but i wounder even if this is a AMG s/c will this void any of your engines warrenties? b/c its kinda not factory? im scared of doing anything to my engine just because im worried bout warrenty. and good luck with everything... i bet you a lot of ppl wont expect you to have a s/c in your 240, so i bet it would be funn surprising them.=)

I already contacted the dealer and it will void my warranty unless I have them install it, which is like $$$$.
The other option was to get an extended warranty from MB that would cover my SC, so I did. 100,000 miles bumper to bumper w/ the SC installed..

Your Mercedes dealer told you that you could get a Mercedes part, have some one else custom fabricate all the necessary equipment, hopefully use a better intercooler, and any other work required, and that it would be covered under warranty? I suppose it's possible, but I would get it in writing from MB, not from your dealer.
