now that's why the Coupé needs a power rear-window shade !

It's still on my future mods list.... gonna make it work some day !!

Sorry boys, no pics of the honey...would love to show her off, but I'm too wary of little boys with pent up anger who like to talk smack on message boards and might use her pic for illicit purposes because mommy hid the the Victoria's Secret catalogue. Lol, all in good fun.

Ha, I like the idea of raising the rear shade...is the rear fog light really so bright? I might give that a whirl.

j/k

the rear fog light is a bit brighter. People who don't know anything about GERMAN cars though, think that it's your brake light acting up, or that the opposite brake light is not working, even though you're not hitting the brakes !

..........I like the rear fog light trick too, works good. I'll have to try the sunshade out..I cannot stand tailgaters, especially when i'm already speeding by 15-20 mph as it is...my cars not a speed demon, but it's no slouch. I had a 2000ish Grand Cherokee v8 tailgating me at about 85 mph, I switched lanes, allowed him around, and imediately got on his tail, he nailed the throttle, as evidenced by a poof of carbon out the exhaust, and as he accelerated, I stayed on him until he began to ever so slowly pull away around 100....I know, no trophy, but I bet he was mildy concerned..

Talking Taunting

If you really want to get them going. When they are sitting at the traffic light, revving their car and wanting to drag race you...

Ignore them.

That will tork them off more than anything else.

...especially if they THINK you are going to run, and they launch, allowing you to watch them race away...............alone.

I get this sort of reception from Porsches sometimes. I got three in a row one day. However, their style of "challenging" me took the form of cutting in front of me. One had the audacity to cut me off after I got into a left-turn lane. He came from behind me and squealed to a stop ahead to make his left. Funnily enough, when I was driving in that area (South SF) a month before in a rental (Pontiac something or other) no such reception whatsoever. Hmmmm....

In situations where someone if tailgating / trying to race / being a down right jerk I've found the sun shade comes in quite handy. On more than one occassion I've seen ppl behind me having some sort of fit. Simply give em a small wave "good bye" and shut em up with the sun shade. Then sit back and watch em go nuts!!

you are so right! i've seen a couple people really flip out in their car/truck after the sun shade gets put up. best is the SUV's though. they think that b/c their headlights are level w/ normal cars rearview mirror, we'll always get out of their way. but those headlights are also at a perfect level to get a great view of watching that sunshade pop up!

I think the sunshade is a great idea, but I don't have one! What's it take to install one? Sunman, any thoughts? I will try a search, but I don't remember anything about this over the last 2 years.

EDIT: Found some info by searching!

why do some people drive around with the rear fog on even when it's a perfectly clear night, that pisses me off. I especially notice audi drivers do it.
