There is no such thing is "supercharger oil", atleast none to my knowledge.......but there is engine oil that you need to change.

In North America the owners manual suggests Mobil 1 0w-50, it also says to have the car serviced (including oil change) every 11,000miles (I don't know how my km that is), but I my mine change out every 5000miles.

Since you live in a different climate, I would think you need a thicker oil.

Most superchargers have an oil line so they recieve their lubrication from the engine oil. Very few actually have there own oil resivior.

Eaton superchargers have an internal oil reservior. The oil is changed every 60,000 miles. Read the service booklet.

Super Charger Oil

Eaton SC don't need oil changes and my Eaton blower on my Miata was fine until I changed the oil and then it developed a leak. Moral of the story is, don't fix it if it ain't broke. They say the oil is good for 100,000 miles. I think at that point I would have the unit re-built at a proper re-biulder of Eaton SC's. They check everthing out internally and replace seals and bearings.

I think you are thinking about a turbo.

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
Getting your Benz serviced in Hong Kong is not expensive. I use the Zung Fu center in Hung Hom. There is a showroom there, and you can check out the latest in HK whilst your ride is serviced. You can telephone them with any questions about service. They will give you the straight story. The number is 2363-9396.

One of the best things about the HK is no matter where your car stops, you can get back to your flat in a half hour with your octopus!

Nope was thinking about superchargers, but it also applies to turbos. When looking for different supercharger systems for my dads Cobra, we found that most of the SC's get the oil from the engine. One of the benefits of this was the SC oil is cooled by the oil cooler, as it is the same oil as the engine. But anyways, I digress... I guess Eaton uses an oil resivior, you learn something new every day!
