... I've noticed a slight "rubbery" squeak when I make a turn...
Just kidding, but the line sounded pretty funny when taken out of it's context. Sorry!

Its the "Sway Bar Bushing". I took my car in for service a couple of weeks ago and my advisor showed me their latest bulletin for the C-class. You will only hear the rubbing sound after your car have been driven for a while, right? Putting lubricant to the bushing will not help, according to the bulletin, sands/dirt are gathered inside the bushing and when its warm, it will generate some rubbing sound for some reason. MB has designed a new bushing but its not available yet. My advisor said he will call me to replace the new bushings when they arrive. In the meantime, he changed a set of new bushings for me but he said the noise might come back after the bushing has gathered enough dirt inside.
If you guys cant bear with the rubbing sound, ask yr dealer to change the bushings for you, otherwise, wait for the new bushings to arrive!
I think Mbtech 208 must have more detailed info regarding this...
Spraying silicone lubricant didn't help.
They also replaced the front shocks (I think) that didn't help.
On my 3rd visit the shop foreman removed these bushings and applied the lubricant on their inner surface (maybe even on the sway bar too) and put back the bushings. No squeaks since than and it was about 2 months ago.
Hey guys, I know what it is....I have the exact same problem.
