Oil Leak form the drivers side catalytic

I have a very strange oil leak on my 2015 GLK350, oil seems to be leaking from the bottom of the drivers cat converter, there is no signs of oil leak anywhere else, drain plug, oil pan etc, not even running down the bellhousing. Anyone else ever had this issue, or thoughts?
Cheers,

We had an odd leak on our 2014 GLK350 (Base)
(I have a thread posted out here about it.)

Anyway, it turned out to be the oil filter cover (top-front of engine)
Its o-ring seal, over time, had "crushed" flat and oil was dribbling from around it, but IT WAS NOT obvious.
Not obvious, meaning, if you opened the hood and looked at it, you could not see the oil leaking.
The leak was occurring from its back-side and down (and slow leak only during engine-running).

One reason is because the lower engine cover was catching the oil, and when you're driving the oil is pushed back to the back end of the cover and drips , so it's NOT obvious where it's originating from.

I'm not saying this is your issue, but worth checking (5 minutes).

Uv die and an uv flashlight will help if hard to find . I got a kit off amazon for a coolant leak . I have small oil leaks but not worth fixing. What is important is the wire harness to the cam sensor . Read up on it . I had oil in my harness and cleaned it .

Don't your filters come with a new o-ring? Mine do...

So I put the vehicle up on stands, and removed the lower cover, took a trouble light and saw some oil trickling down the O2 sensor wire, so I am thinking it might be the rear cam housing plug? I am having difficulty locating this, I am located in Canada, closest I have come is a dorman part number.

Also, to locate this rear plug, I must remove the rear top cover, I'm thinking this might be the intake manifold?

So, I assume your "leak" results in minimal loss of oil? (since your lower engine cover did not have much oil pooled in it)

See if this YouTube video is helpful:

From my experience UV dye doesnt work since oil already glows green under uv light. At least on my engine it does. Cant tell the difference between new oil stains or old.

The O2 sensors plug into the ecu harness at the top middle rear of the engine. Not sure how oil would leak down onto the wires. May have oil leaking from the vacuum pump that is above the drivers side O2 wires. There is a small round plastic plug at the back of the drivers side cylinder head.

I'm able to hold my phone down in behind the engine and snap photos then view them on my PC. Snap a bunch because most photos come out blurry with space so limited back there.

I cant see oil leaking from the oil filter housing or cooler making tis way onto the O2 sensor wires or exhaust manifold. You would most likely see oil dripping down directly below it if it were leaking.

I believe the O2 wires are in the silver wire covering, connectors circled in red. Plug circled in green. Can see the silver cover of the vacuum pump next to the plg.
