2006 C Class Prices Dealer Confrimed
CANADIAN PRICES ONLY
(US Peoples, do your conversions then subtract a few grand or more off the price)
2006 C Class C230 Sport Sedan will start at $43,500 CDN topping off at about $54,000 CDN nicely equipped
2006 C Class C280 will roughly start at $45,500 CDN topping off at about $58,500 CDN
The C350 Sport Sedan will start at $54,500 CDN topping off at about $69,000 CDN nicely equipped.
And the C55 will be roughly $77,000 CDN loaded and ready to tear up the roads
(US Peoples, do your conversions then subtract a few grand or more off the price)

Wow, that's high, that comes out to $36K US for a based C230. How does that compare to last year in Canada? I know when the exchange rate was better the prices in the Canada was cheaper than the U.S., now it appears it's more.

Delivery too
The dealer called me a few hours ago to provide an estimated delivery date on my C350. They are looking at the last week of September.
They also asked if I would like to downgrade to the C280, that is supposed to be available about a month sooner than the C350. I did not accept that alternative, no comprimises on this vehicle purchase.
These dates are probably slightly later than what y'all are going to get on the east or west coasts. Down here in the land-o-HeeHaw we usually get a lesser degree of attention.

Now if the post originator would care to explain what nicely equipped and loaded means in relation to a std vehicle. Because without those definitions this thread doesn't say anything.

USA prices are supposed to be within 1-2% of current MSRPs. I've asked multiple dealers multiple times, and they are adamant that there are no planned big whoppers coming because of the new drivetrains.
Look for base prices and options to do the usual change-of-model-year inflation creep, and not more...
