wheels for a 2001 C240
I have decided to get wheels for my car, but I am not sure what to get. I really want chrome, but i have heard that chrome makes the car weight a lot more. I know I want 18 x 8 , and so far I have picked out AT Italia Inox and Mille Miglia Evo 5. I had picked out Brabus Monoblock V or Lorinser (i think it's called something 5?) I was wondering if anyone had any opinions or suggestions.

I have Seen the Evo 5's on a couple of 240's, looks really good with Cross Drilled Rotors. My personal favorite is the Brabus Monoblocks they look good on all C-Class mercedes.

Anyways, the Brabus Mono V's look very good, you would definetly be happy with any Brabus wheels. Just make sure you get the real deal if you plan on buying from Ebay or another place like that.

2001 C240 6spd
I went with the AMG split spoke - 17's for my C240. If 18's is what you want, then your choice of Brabus or Lorinser are good. I like the Brabus Type V or VI. Lorinser LM5 are very nice..they have a new wheel out now RM4(I think that is what they are called) - 5 spoke design, multi piece look but one piece(if you like the multi piece look). The RM4 is somewhat interesting to me. If I go with 18's - I may look into HRE's (500 series) the next time.

Ok, what is cross drilled rotors?? I really really want the Brabus Monoblock V or Lorinser LM5 but I am not the one paying for them. So, I had to find something a little bit cheaper. I don't want anything like a bicycle wheel for my car, I am a fanatic for the 5 spoke.
I think I like the Mille Miglia Evo 5 better than the AT Italia Inox, and if anyone has seen any other 5 spoke rims send me a link!

Check out adventon.com , they have the best prices I've found for Lorinser and Brabus, $413 each for 18" Monoblock V one piece or like $340 for 17". My favorites are the Monoblock V and the LM5, you cant go wrong with either! hokusbenz, could you post some pics of your car w/ the clear side markers, or have you already in the picture thread?
