Swapping Hood problem

There are a total of 6 screw, 3 on each side that hold the overall hood up that are connected to the latches. Now I'm having a hard time unscrewing them and whe i press really hard it starts rubbing the grinding the shape into a circle, any ideas or suggestions?

You are gnawing the torx shape of the screw.

STOP ! if you grind them to a circle, you will NEVER get them off.

You are either using the wrong size Torx driver, or pushing too hard.
Try lubricating the screw from the opposite side.

or strip them, and drill them out at your leisure.

no joke.

if you've already stripped the screw. Your only alternative may be what Doug said,
and drill them out. You're going to have to get new screws altogether, and recommend getting a good set of TORX drivers.

don't know what to tell ya then...
just make sure you're using the right size TORX driver.
it should fit snuggly and tight. if you're off by just one size you start stripping the inside pattern of the screw.

if, it still won't come off... might have to take it in to a body shop.
