C230 Sports Coupe
Will there be an AMG version of the C230K Coupe?
Has anyone heard of anything regarding whether AMG will turn out any super coupes. That would be too awesome. They would have my order if they did!

And what it would be maybe 50K tops? The C32 goes for around 58K, but the car only costs 40K at the most so taking that into account the amg coupe shouls be around 50K. I hope I am right. I will gladly wait for that car to be built. If i hear definate word of it being built the second thing i do will be to post it here. The first will be to contact my MB dealer and make sure i get the first order in!

I sure hope MB develops an AMG coupe. I think to avoid confusion with the current C32 the same engine should be used with an increase of about 300cc displacement. The coupe could be designated a C35-a coupe with about 375HP-it would be worth $50,000 or more!

But I seriously doubt that AMG will do that any time soon. Supposedly they have one AMG variant to each class. Im not sure where that number of 40K for a C32 came from but the dealer invoice with no options is 46,407. So you could expect a coupe to be around 42K to start. I hope they do, but certainly wouldnt hold your breath on that one.

When i meant 40K i meant a C320, sorry for not making that clear.
Yeah even if AMG doesnt do a Coupe , MB should have the C320 Sports Coupe, i think

Not only probable but likely
A 3.2 manual would be great in a car that size. I think the car is already a bottle rocket, so this would really tune it up. This has been the direction of MB since inception of the C coupe. I think you will see that before next summer. They probably would want to capture some of the summer sales in the states, with a high performance version of the pano-roof coupe.
