Illuminated Benz Grille/Symbol-pics!
HEY guys Finally got around to posting pics of the only mod in my car. This is to those who say that external lights on a BENZ cannot be done right or at all....I specifically said to the guy how can you pull this off without making it look honda-ish....and with a big smile on his face this is what he came up with........mind you I am a conservative future doc and I would never put anything that looks too crazy on my car......I get stopped by so many people for this asking questions lol even had a manager at the benz dealer come out and ask/compliment enjoy

Not the biggest fan of the mod, but I guess I would have to see it in person to make a judgement. (Being a future doctor myself, I don't want to jump to any conclusions just yet).

it's cool, but most def not my cup of tea... if I were to do an LED grill, it would be more like dachigga's.
this seems too out there for me, but cool nonetheless.

kinda cool, but i'd never do it..
Only thing I was interested in, was adding 2 yellow LED's under the front grill.. just to have those 'beast-eyes' from the E55 commercial lol

I had my grill lit up before, any glow like this is rice despite how you may try to hide behind being 'conversative'.
If you like that mod, lite up your footwells. I think it looks very tasteful, like abient lighting, yet then again, its all still

My IMO, it depreciates the classy look of the car. To each his/her own though. Your car is definitely unique. The only illumination that should be done are door sills.

I have an idea... but I'm not sure if I want to do it or not as it would involve poking a hole in my cars trunk (even though it would be hidden underneath the star) lets just say that the star itsself lights up, I'm thinking it could be connected to the brakelights

I'm thinking of experimenting with changing lights to all the same color to see what happens, but I risk the chance of loosing the attention and glow on the grille. But we will see. As for now I'm keeping it......Last night one of the physicians saw my car and was like DAAAAAAMMMMMMNNNN!!!!! Can I put that on my BENZ?( He has a spanking new CLS55) I said yeah, but i would not want you too because then it is not original for me anymore. The ******* actually found out where I had it done and wants to put it on his car now. If he does put it on his CLS55 I will take the mod off my car. I think it would be too much to have two cars in the same hospital/campus with this mod...especially since his car costs a zillion times more than mine LOL!

all fun aside, since it's blue, I thought that only law enforcement could have blue lights on their car... couldn't you get a ticket for that? is it switched? or does it come on with the lights?
