The easiest way to swap trannies is to sell your car, buy another. These days, cars are so complicated with sensors, SAM and ECU modules that you would really have to know what you are doing and acess to a donor car to make sure you got every piece if you want to try it yourself. I would not trust most mechanics to do it. If you buy everything new and have the dealer do it, it's probably about a $10K job. So you can see, that the easy thing, specially for a 2002 is to sell/buy.

@&$% yes it would! that would probably do some great things for performance. I just know that I could make better use out of my engine with a better tranny (and i dont mean transsexual, i dont know how that would help my car any... although in my neighborhood it shouldnt be hard to find one to add
