opinion on Lorinser roof spoiler...

this is a picture of the Lorinser Roof spoiler on BrabusCclass's car. Tell me what do you think about it...would it look weird with the AMG kit?

I like the spoiler, i think it gives a car a little something extra. Can't really tell how it would go with the AMG body kit without a picture. Can you tape 1 on just like you did with the fin

Frank, do it!

I've only got a fake knock-off (I know, I was too cheap to get the real thing, okay) and I Love how it looks, but the original Lorinser spoiler looks awesome. If you've got the extra change, definitely get!

Thumbs up LORINSER roof wing

Frank,
obviously my car is a Coupé,
but with the AMG body kit, (front/rear bumpers / side skirts / spoiler), the Lorinser Roof Wing really looks good (in my opinion).

here's a pic:

ha...I'll probably get a replica as well $300 painted versus $500 unpainted. Rather save up and get the real Brabus kit

Frank, in that case, here are a couple pics from my car. My car's not black, but it's dark, so at least you'll be able to see how it looks on a dark car (especially a "replica").

Thanks, Frank. Nope, no antenna cuz I didn't order the SOS or NAV. My monthly's would've brought me past my "affordable" range if I got SOS or NAV. Ever since I found out about Steve (MBenzNL) last year, I didn't regret not getting the NAV, but the SOS...I'm kinda wishing I did get it. Oh well.

Hahaha...LOL...the 5 and 3 series are my best friend's cars. Actually, he sold the 3 series a few months ago for 17 grand. It was an '00, but it only had 60,000 miles. He's also got an X5, but he's in the process of possibly trading that in for the new ML.

Needless to say, it's very depressing knowing that I make a lot less change than my best friend is making , but I guess I also can't complain cuz I still have my Benzo (even though I really wanted the 32 or a 55, but that was way too pricey for my pockets). It's good in a way too, cuz if I ever needed to borrow his cars, I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem with it

I'll let him know you gave him props. Tried to get him to give me more pics, but he's too lazy (with the job, wife and kid, he's got no time to do this stuff).

Frank,

I have a friend who basically have the same car as yours - a black C32 with 19s. He has the roof spoiler and I seriously think it looks alright. I'm not an advocate of mixing brands (but hey, I'm **** like that ) but if that's not a problem for you, I'd recommend the roof. It adds another dimension to the car that makes the rear more muscular and compliments the AMG bumper, which is somewhat understated compared with the Brabus and Carlsson kits, fairly nicely.

I'm sorry I can't take a picture for you though, for he lives up north and I don't see him much at all. I'll post it if I somehow manage to take one sometime.

the teleaid is useless...I cancelled it recently. It uses the same radio signal which you use for your cell phone, so if your phone doesn't work the teleaid ain't gonna help.

my sis got into an accident a year and half ago. Lets' just say it involved the center island and couple newly planted trees. I was in the car with her...i was asleep and we were 2 min away from home. Anywayz, we pulled into a plaza near the house, called dad, and tried the teleaid. guess what? teleaid didn't work because the reception was bad. My dad and bro came in our ML430 and tried the teleaid in the ML...same thing. We ended up using my dad's Sprint phone to call mb roadside assistance, but the conversation with the operator pissed us off. He said something like " we can only provide free towing in event of emergency!!" we were like "WTF, shattered windshield, bent rims, dented hood, and dead trees on the road ain't emergency?" We ended up driving the car home since we were close and had the insurance company called the tow truck the next day.

same here...i'm not so sure about mixing up brands for kits, but there are only soo few choices for the roof spoilers. lol

I'm getting the Brabus kits sooner or later. when that happens, bye bye badges.

H.S.!!! That's crazy man. I'm glad your sis was okay, but damn...that really sucks. I actually got T-boned in my parents' E class and I used the Tele-aid, but in the end it was a similar story as yours. We ended up calling from my cell phone instead of the Tele-aid. Something malfunctioned and it didn't work.

Yeah, so in retrospect, I didn't feel I lost anything by not getting it. I just kinda liked how the antenna looked...LOL.
