If this is compatible with the 230K, would it be safe to assume that it would push the hp past 240, since the 200K comes stock 163 (? on the number) to the crank and the 230K comes stock 189 to the crank (specifically w/ regards to the m271 engine).

According to their website, the M271 engine mods are for the 180k and the 200k. The 230K kits are for the M111.

HL883 said that the kit will work with the 230K, but the kit that was posted was for the 200K, which is the M271 engine...

okay, okay...You got me there. That's true. I guess, I failed to mention that it only indicated the 200K. Just figured since HL883 was from Hong Kong, he or she would have more knowledge than me, since I'm here in the U.S.

There are the same engine, there is just the supercharge and the ECU is

different, the kit come with a adaptation ECU, so it work on those M271

engine.

Yup, I know exactly what you mean, Tom. Now whether or not there is confirmation that this kit works for the 230 (M271) engine remains to be seen.

As amdeutsch pointed out to me, there is one poster asking about the kit and another confirming that it works on the 230K (M271) and both are newbies. The confirmation obviously should be taken with a grain of salt until it has been confirmed that this kit will work on the 230K (M271).

I understand your theory, however, it still doesn't take away the fact that you are a newbie. "Newbie" is just a forum term for "new message board member".

Also, if you are basing your theory on the fact that it's the same engine, that doesn't necessarily hold water. Think about the C32 vs. the C320. The C320 is the same engine that is used on the C32, however, it's not as simple as slapping on the AMG kompressor (e.g. supercharger) and everything is good to go. Until MKB actually posts that the kit is compatible for the 230K (M271), there's no substance to that argument.

Take for example the TEIN coilovers that are currently available, they only list the 240/320. That doesn't necessarily mean they work for any other classification of the C Class (w203).

 

It can past 240hp, when c230K work with the kit, and now i'm asking for...

The MKB stage 3 package can or can't work with the pulley kit, if it can,

Maybe the c230k can past 300hp!!! But the ECU must adapt the MKB and pulley's data.....

This package is NOT compatible with the c230k
cuz c200k and c230k's M271 are different.

But, c200k change a new supercharge and install the MKB kit with other pulley kit and a update ECU adapt, it can past 280hp....
