Grilles Opinions
All this talk about the CL Grille, I like it but it seems like the star is too big for me. I think the 5.5" star on the Prestige Sport Grille is large enough but I'm not sure about the style. Any opinions on the Sport Grille? Pictures would be appreciated especially on a silver car.
Is the sport grille have a 3d star or is it flat? Thanks.

front end on a C-Coupé and C-Sedan are not the same. Parts are not interchangeable.
Different grills, different headlamps, different front bumper.
Similar to the regular C-Sedan and AMG C55 (CLK front end).

IMO the star is way too big on the CL type. If I had the sedan the star and grille would stay, I love the way it looks.

in my opinion, you should get a color coded grill for your car, with the flat badge..I guess thats decent...you dont have to have the star to have it look nice =]

'06 E350 Iridium Silver with pano
I originally had the prestige grill, but wasn't happy with the way it looked. It's basically a stock grill with a star. In addition, the star wa flat and not 3 dimension. I then decided to get the CL grill. A much better look and makes the car look more sporty. Some people like it and others don't. Here's some pics of it.

I think the CL grill looks the best. The prestige grill looks really cheap. Like someone just tacked on the star to it. Not a great look.

That is not the "CL" style grille. You have a "prestige" grille w/ large star. There is another one w/ smaller star. The CL style grille does not have the chrome frame/bezel like OEM, and like yours.
