AdamVax, don't you have an '05? As far as I understand it, the '04.5 and up have the front AMG brake rotors. Only difference is the Mercedes logo vs. AMG. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

that is correct Drex for the 2004.5
same 4 piston Brembo brakes as the C32 AMG Sedan, with the exception of the logo.
For 2005, however, they are the same rotors, but the calipers although the exact same size only have 2 bolts, vice 4.

Check out some of the pics that have been posted.

EVOSPORT had a HUGE C32 AMG brake kit sale 3 years ago, and about 1-1/2 - 2 years ago. If you can organize a group buy of over 10 people, they might do it again. Call their customer service / sales line.

However, I'm not too sure on the mentality of putting on C32 AMG brakes on the newer 2004.5 and 2005 C Sport Sedans. They are the same brake package. All that is different is the LOGO. If you go with a C55 package, then you bring up issues like caliper clearance, wheel offset & wheel size.

Oh shmack...wow, so I got lucky. So does anybody know why Benz would change from the 4 piston calipers to 2 piston in less than a year? 4.5 was only selling for a few months before the 2005's came out.

something about design efficiency, last I read.
The brakes are essentially the same, but better engineered for 2005.

all in all, could just be another cost-cutting measure. Not really sure why MB does the things they do.

LOL...Oh man, so first it was cost cutting on brakes, then warranty, wow...MB better step up their game because they really might lose customers from stuff like this. Especially with the warranty that BMW is offering right now.

You are right, the 04.5 has 4pistons vs the 05 has 2. The C32/C55/04.5C 230 all have the same brakes.

so the 2 bolt mercedes logoed brakes are 2piston vs the 4 bolt ?

all and all 2 pistons are still better than the floating brakes...
